The machines is highly rigid, allowing it to work to close tolerances on coining operations. It maintains its accuracy on materials of different strengths. This press permits adherence to far closer tolerances on base thickness than presses which yield through deflection. Capacity 180 to 630 tons.
It is used for coining, sizing, extrusion and upsetting, chiefly single-stage forming.
